The Children’s Equity Project

The client

The Children's Equity Project (CEP) is an initiative of Arizona State University’s Sanford School and is led in partnership with scholars from institutions across the United States including Yale University, Georgetown University, Vanderbilt University, The Center for Racial Equity and Excellence, and the University of California Los Angeles, among many others. The CEP focuses on closing opportunity gaps and dismantling systemic racism in learning settings to ensure that children reach their full potential.

The project

As a new entity housed within an existing and well-known organization, the CEP needed a look and feel that was distinct but still compatible with ASU’s brand. We developed a wordmark and look and feel guidelines, and we partnered to design a robust — and still growing! — suite of research reports tackling crucial issues of equity for young children across the United States.
